| | | PODIATRY - FILM COMPARISON
Working with leading podiatrists, MinXray designed and built its first podiatric x-ray unit in the early 1970’s. MinXray offers two x-ray systems to the podiatric professional; the HFPM mobile system and the HFPS stationary system. MinXray HFPS and HFPM systems feature efficient high frequency x-ray units. MinXray HF controls are very easy to operate, line voltage compensation is fully automatic and adjustable kV of 50 - 70 is selected in 2 kV steps on the touch pad control. MinXray HF units also feature easily used memory for quick storage and one-touch recall of frequently used exposure techniques. MinXray HFPM and HFPS systems are the best choice for use with digital imaging media and provide superior image resolution. Use MinXray systems with 100 - 200 speed film or digital media for optimal image detail and exposure leeway.
HFPS System
The versatile HFPS can be installed with the x-ray unit on either the left or right side of the orthoposer base to best fit the space available in the podiatry office. DP, AP and oblique views are taken with the patient standing on the floor, thus enhancing safety. Lateral views of the foot, all ankle views and other specialty views are taken with the patient standing on the orthoposer base. Three safety railings on the orthoposer ensure patient safety and security. The easy-to-use MinXray HFPS has a clean contemporary design requiring minimal floor space.
| HFPM System
MinXray model HFPM is a mobile x-ray system that is easily moved and operated for unmatched imaging versatility. The system rolls smoothly from room to room. The base is counterweighted and stable, eliminating the need for long legs that get in the way and take up space. Vertical travel of the tube head allows for simple positioning for weight bearing radiography on the floor or an orthoposer, or for taking non-weight bearing views over a wheelchair, exam chair or operating table.
