Maxwell Street Klezmer Band Honors Jewish Music Tradition
The Maxwell Street Klezmer Band will be performing traditional Jewish Music, mixed with contemporary American Rock-n-Roll music on May 11, 2006, from 7:30-9:30, in Highland Park, a north Chicago suburb. Chicagoland residents are welcome to enjoy the "mock wedding".

Maxwell Street Klezmer Band invites "Wedding Crashers!"
The Maxwell Street Klezmer Band is throwing a Jewish wedding - and everyone is invited! The musicians will usher in the bride and groom with a rousing rendition of the "Hora." But this is no private party - it is a public performance of traditional Jewish Wedding, complete with Russian bottle dance, and a bit of theater thrown in!
